Character Kids Club Hours:
6:15 am- school begins and dismissal- 6:15 pm

Character Kids Club (CKC) is the district before-and-after school child care program. This program operates during summer school, at the assigned locations to provide parents child care options.

CKC Summer School Registration

Registration for summer school CKC care will open on April 1 and close on May 2, 2025. Registration will be on the new Arux platform. Please note some sites may fill to capacity before the registration deadline. On Arux, you will also be able to register for CKC care during the 2025-2026 school year. All registrations will be taken in the order received. Your registration will be confirmed with an email.

To  Register:

1. Create a parent account in Arux.

2. Select and enroll your child(ren) in the Character Kids Club Program Summer School Location they will attend.

3. If you want to register for the 2025-2026 school year, you may also enroll your child at their home school for CKC care.

We encourage you to review the 2025-2026 CKC handbook prior to registration.

Important information

• Students attending summer school at Seckman Elementary (ESY), who are registered and eligible for CKC will use the Seckman Middle School CKC location. Staff will walk students over to Seckman Middle School at the end of the school day.

• Students attending summer school at Seckman High School (ESY entering 6th grade), who are registered and eligible for CKC will use the Seckman Middle School CKC location. Staff will walk students over to Seckman Middle School at the end of the school day.
• CKC will be offered at Seckman Middle School for eligible students (those entering 5th, and 6th).

Breakfast and lunch will be offered to all students enrolled in K-12 summer school and the K-12 ESY. Breakfast will cost $1.85 daily and lunch will cost $3.35 for Kindergarten - 4th grade and $3.45 for 5th-12th grade.

Those who already qualify for the free and reduced meal application in the 2024-2025 school year will continue to qualify during summer school. Those who have not yet completed an application or are new to enrollment, are strongly encouraged to submit a free and reduced-price meal application online through the Infinite Campus Portal.  To learn more about the free and reduced-price meal applications, visit the Nutrition Services section of the District website. Fox C-6 is able to offer limited transportation service during summer school this year. Transportation will only be provided to the Summer School Location in your attendance area. If you decide to send your child to another site, you must provide your own transportation. 

Please be aware that we will have limited bus service for K-8 Summer School students.  Bus service will be provided from designated bulk pickup and drop-off locations only for students enrolled in K-8 Summer School.
