- Building Blocks Fall and Spring field trip information
-
Our Building Blocks program is happy to bring back our Fall and Spring field trips. For the 24-25 school year, all Building Blocks classrooms will share specific field trip information with their families. The dates for our fall and spring field trips are:
Friday, October 25, 2024
Friday, April 4, 2025
These field trips are parent/guardian supervised. The goal behind these field trips is to give parents/guardians an opportunity to be with the child's teachers, other students' families, your child's new friends, and to get to know one another, as part of the Building Blocks community. The field trips are a great socializing opportunity and a means to build strong relationships with those who are now a part of your child's daily life.
The field trips weeks will have prorated tuition. You will not be charged for either October 25 or April 4. Our goal is not to create a work-related hardship for you, which is why we want you to have the dates in advance. Your child's teacher will provide you with specific field trip information in advance so you know the itinerary for the day. If you are unable to attend, your child is welcome to be accompanied by anyone you would like to have with your child on the field trips.
The Building Blocks classrooms will be closed on these two days. Students and their parents/guardians will meet the other students' families, and the Building Blocks teachers at the field trip venue. At the conclusion of the field trip, you will then depart with your child for home. Our hope is that you enjoy a special day bonding with your child, your child's new friends, the parents of other Building Blocks children, and the teachers who care for your children each day.
If either of these dates for field trips is canceled due to inclement weather, we will conduct a regular Building Blocks school day, and tuition will remain prorated for the week.
If you have any specific questions about the field trips, please talk with your child's Building Blocks teachers.
