Fox C-6 Announces New Assistant Principals at Three Schools
During last night’s Board of Education meeting, the Board approved the hiring of the following administrative positions, effective July 1, 2024: Assistant Principal at Meramec Heights Elementary, Assistant Principal at Sherwood Middle School, and Assistant Principal at Fox High School.
Mr. Jeremy Conley has been named the new assistant principal at Meramec Heights Elementary. Mr. Conley is currently a special education teacher at Fox High School, where he has been since 2019. Prior to serving at FHS, Mr. Conley taught special education at Hillsboro High School, followed by five years at Ridgewood Middle School where he was a special education teacher as well. Mr. Conley earned a B.S. in Middle School Social Studies from Missouri Baptist University, a M.S. in Educational Administration from Southwest Baptist University, and most recently, an Ed.S. in Educational Administration and Superintendency from Southwest Baptist.
Mrs. Shellie Manes has been named the new assistant principal at Sherwood Elementary. Mrs. Manes is currently a third grade teacher at Guffey Elementary, where she has been since 2006. Mrs. Manes started out as a second grade teacher at Guffey for four years, before transitioning to a fifth grade for another nine years. She has also served as a summer school assistant principal within the District, and on top of that, she was recognized as the “Teacher of the Year” at Guffey Elementary during the 2019-2020 school year. Mrs. Manes earned a B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, and a M.A. in Education Administration from Missouri Baptist University.
Mr. Matt Weber has been named as the new assistant principal at Fox High School, replacing Tracy LaRose, who is moving back to a full-time role at Seckman High School. Mr. Weber is currently a history teacher at Fox High School, where he has been since 2017. Aside from his teaching role, Mr. Weber also serves as the varsity girls basketball coach, and the junior varsity golf coach for both the boys and girls teams. Mr. Weber earned a B.A. in Social Studies Education from Westminster College, and a M.A. in Secondary Administration from Lindenwood University.
