{April 20, 2023} ARNOLD, MO –During the April 18, 2023, Board of Education meeting, the Board approved the hire of Mrs. Amy Vandevender, CPA to be the next Chief Financial Officer of the Fox C-6 School District. Mrs. Vandevender will officially begin work in May. Prior to being approved for hire by the Board of Education, she went through a rigorous interview process that included a panel interview with a variety of district stakeholders and a final interview with Dr. Fregeau and the administrative cabinet.

Mrs. Vandevender brings a wealth of diverse financial management experience to Fox C-6, including developing and managing annual budgets of 100 million dollars and preparing financial statements in excess of 90 million dollars per year. Most recently, Mrs. Vandevender served as a Client Accounting Manager at Cushman Wakefield where she oversaw finances for facility management clients.

Additionally, she has vast experience in higher education accounting and finance, holding positions at Washington University and Webster University. Mrs. Vandevender received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
