Dr. Paul Husch Approved as New Principal at Seckman Elementary School
During this week's Board of Education meeting, the Fox C-6 Board of Education approved Dr. Paul Husch as the new Principal for Seckman Elementary School, beginning July 1, 2025. Dr. Husch is replacing Mr. Dan Baker, who recently announced that he plans to retire at the end of the school year.
Dr. Husch currently serves as an Assistant Principal at the Center for Creative Learning within the Rockwood School District. He has been in the Assistant Principal role since 2022. Prior to Rockwood, Mr. Husch spent time teaching in various roles at Wabash #348, Crawford County R-I, St. Louis Public Schools, as well as the Lindbergh School District.
Dr. Husch earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Illinois State University, a Master of Education degree in Gifted Education from Lindenwood University, an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Lindenwood, and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from William Woods University.
As is the case with all of our candidates, Dr. Husch completed a rigorous interview and selection process. He received very positive reviews from the hiring committee, consisting of parents and staff. Dr. Husch also went through a final round interview process with myself and Dr. Bain. We are all very proud of Dr. Husch, and are pleased to announce that the Board of Education approved him for this position.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Husch on his new role at Seckman Elementary School!
Respectfully,
Dr. Paul Fregeau
