Paul Tramel Named New Lone Dell Elementary Principal

During the Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, February 6, the Fox C-6 Board of Education approved Mr. Paul Tramel as the new Principal for Lone Dell Elementary, beginning July 1, 2024. Mr. Tramel currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Lone Dell Elementary, where he has been since 2021. Prior to serving at Lone Dell, Mr. Tramel taught 6th grade at Simpson Elementary, followed by 16 years at Ridgewood Middle School teaching 7th grade Geography, 8th grade American History, and Physical Education before being hired as an Assistant Principal at Sherwood Elementary in 2020.

Mr. Tramel earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from Southwest Missouri State University, a M.S. in Educational Administration from Missouri Baptist, and most recently, an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University. Mr. Tramel is currently working on his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University and expects to graduate in May. Mr. Tramel has strong roots in the Fox C-6 School District, as he attended schools in the District throughout his childhood, including Lone Dell when it opened in 1990.

As is the case with all of our candidates, Mr. Tramel completed a rigorous interview and selection process. He received very positive reviews from the hiring committee, consisting of parents and staff. Mr. Tramel also went through a final round interview process with myself, and Dr. Gilman. We are all very proud of Mr. Tramel and are pleased to announce that the Board of Education approved him for this position.

I am certain that we will continue to see Lone Dell students and staff thrive under his leadership.  Please join us in congratulating Mr. Tramel on his new role at Lone Dell Elementary!

Respectfully,

Dr. Paul Fregeau
Superintendent
